Since it has warranty, go and ask Apple and see what they'll do.

^Theres no rush to own any system for that matter...you should always wait several months but the animal gamers in all of us "MUST HAVE NOW" then we feel let down when the games are not flowing like they suppose to...thats the gamers curse;)

Viewers actually started to side with Windows because of his lovable underdog persona. Attacking your competitor is a double-edge sword.

My vote is the single 23". However for the most bang for the buck, it would seem the dual setup would be better for you.

I need to record the Line in on a iMic system to a file. I have lame and vorbis OGG installed via Macports. What command would I use to grab the line in audio so that the program could record the line in audio in the format I want to save it in?
lame [options] foo.mp3
oggenc [options] foo.ogg
Thanks for any tips or pointers to accomplish this task. I know there are Mac GUI tools to do this, but I need command line tools so I can do some manipulation and automatically forward the audio file.

I thought the same thing after i used my Mac exclusively for about a month or two then jumping back to Windows to do various things. Most of the time I wondered why it took me so long to minimize everything so i could see the desktop (I have it set now where I can move the mouse to he top right corner and everything flies away) and also why... well I'm just doing things at a slower rate in general.
I'm not talking about things that particularly need a lot of CPU and processing power to do , just things like opening Chrome then opening two folders takes a lot longer to do on a Windows computer compared to a Mac.

Yep the broken iPod cable/wire is the way to go. It works better if you're a girl\woman, then you can act very clueless. Because everything *thinks* girls don't know anything about computers.

Continuation of discussion from my thread:
I figure if we are going to keep talking about yours we might as well do it in your thread.
I think this is the best creative one, well other than mudbugs's spam one, but it doesn't count.
I still find mine sexier though

I did notice that the SMP deadlines are tight, but if you run the normal client, it is PPC only, and the points you get are low. Boo!

Yeah, you're mad, or trolling... You'd have to swap everything. An iPod is not a desktop, you can just swap out anything you want, it's all soldered to the logic board. Anyway, you'd be buying everything apart from the case, but since parts are expensive you probably wouldn't save any money.
tl;dr: illogical idea is illogical. Throw a massive HDD in there or buy a 6G.
It isn't as easy as an entire logic-board swap?

What ISO did you shoot this at? With an aperture of 1.4 and the reflected light I think you could've afforded to do ISO400 even, with steady enough hands. Looks like you shot it at 1600+ though.
Are you f ing serious? Trying to tell me what available light was there? This is a bit underexposed and it was shot at 1/80, f/1.4, ISO3200. Come on now. I know my stuff. Don't you think if I could've shot this at 400, I would've?

I am not excited about this information being stored. However, until there is proof that the data actually gets sent back to Apple, I think Apple gets a temporary pass on this. But they are going to need to prove it in the media.
This is a good and important distinction, that the iPhone is storing the data but not sending it to anyone.
It brings to mind the question of why does the iPhone hold onto the location data for years? If it's not being sent to anyone else, then it means its collecting it for on-device services. I can't think of anything the iPhone does that requires it to know every location you've ever used it in all the time you've owned it. Hell, the only thing I can think of is that Maps might want to know your last known location so that it knows what to show on start up, in the event of crash or something that requires Maps to start cold.

Hello. I have the IPT 64GB (Fall, 2009 model). I plan to buy one more USB-IPT connection cable. There are products by other companies that are half the price. Do I need to worry about compatibility problem? Thanks.

they have a shipment in. I got in there at 7:15 and people already lined up 40 + deep. Missed one by about 5 people. Called tonight to see about tomorrow morning and got the same "not sure". So I will probably bow out but if anyone goes up tomorrow let us know. I might try later in the week or Saturday morning.
