    Greedy bastards.

Too bad they know nothing of the Android open wasteland, where few people would pay for apps.

I just DL'd the demo for Earth Worm Jim and it is awesome. I just wanted to give people a heads up that this was released in case anyone loved this game years ago. It has 4 player co-op but I'm not sure how it works.

Selling refurbished iPads as new _would_ be illegal. And I'd be curious where they would have found refurbished iPads.Exactly right. That would be a no-no.

They did what any of us could do. They bought a bunch at another retail seller and then resold them.

nice. hey as long as you have permission to fold on those iMacs, we could use the points. the macbooks might not be worth it, depending on what they are used for.

as far as a PC vs mbp, that's up to you. but those new intel processors sure do seem nice. what kind of pc did you have in mind for building?

not a bad idea for keeping track of folding

Yeah I have permission to use the iMacs, they're my dad's and brother's, respectively, and they're both into helping out with this project, as my dad's father died of alzheimer's and my brother had cancer recently.

As far as the new computer goes, I will probably do one this year and the other the next, I just need to figure out which. The MBP would be a high end 15" i7 Sandy Bridge whenever those are ready. The PC would also be an i7 Sandy Bridge (2600k, probably overclocked a little) after the Sandy Bridge is ready again, with a GTX 570 most likely. Although I love building PCs I'm leaning towards getting a new MBP because I travel A LOT (literally half my year is normally spent away from home; I fly for an aerial mapping company) and I would really like to be able to play stuff like Civ V at good frame rates and would enjoy having a little bit more battery life for long airline flights. Not to mention the awesome cpu for compressing my blu ray collection and of course, folding. The kicker will be seeing how the specs for the new MBPs actually shake out, especially the gpu.

Funny how NC law forbids the sale of handguns to anyone under 21, but you're 21 and you already have 2 expensive guns (and the iPhone you took the photo with). And yet you have to run a racket to be able afford a guitar.

    He's probably a professional thief/conboy(hence not a man)/racketeer.

Hence his paranoid need for self defense, he's probably scare of the poor people he's SCAMMED.

We iPhone and 3G iPad owners are plenty upset by this as well.

Well, to be fair, you express hate toward Apple constantly. And given the conspiracy ideas in your signature, you are plenty upset about lots of things in your life. So I would hardly consider you a typical case. Apple could offer free computers tomorrow and you'd instantly post a message expressing your hatred of Apple for doing that.

I don't hate Apple, just many of the things they do. Most Apple products I love.

Overpriced. These games are ancient and most of them don't offer much gameplay at all. Plus it cost atari essentially nothing to put this app out. If they made it $0.99 for the hundred pack then it'd be no-brainer, we'd buy it just for the nostalgia alone. I could conceivably see paying up to $4.99 for the hundred pack for the very small handful of games that are actually worth playing. But $14.99 for these junky games? No way.

p.s., I'm not saying all old games are bad, quite the contrary, there are a lot of fantastic old games that still hold up well, but the atari era of games were especially crappy.

So buy the packs you want for 99 cents each. I bought 3 or 4 packs total, and that's all the games that I really played/remember, so I'm quite happy with that. I'm not planning on spending the full $15.

    thanks zen.state.

what compound would you recommend? arctic silver seems to be the standard

I have only used Arctic Silver 5 and OCZ Ultra 5. Both are good. I have even read in a couple places that the OCZ is actually just repackaged Arctic Silver. The OCZ tends to be darker than others though.

In the end though the difference from the worst to the best paste is maybe 1-3C. Every bit does help though.

Be sure to only use a dab on each CPU raised middle that is about the size of a grain of rice. Any other pertinent info about the application of individual pastes will be in the included instructions.

Limiting iPods is just more admin for the consumer, which is tedious enough in the first place. Just stick to DVDs and appropriate software.

Yes it does! And my 27" iMac is crunching 24/7 since I'm back from a holidays. And getting bonuspoints now, doing about 9000 ppd with the advmethods. This is a huge improvement for me, but don't know if I keep folding 24/7 because of the electricity bill... Cheers guys!

Can't decide between here with the easy parking but longer queues or the many shops of middlesbrough and being stuck in town at hours I'd rather not.

Was quite handy for the 3G launch

I already have my lovely Canon 50mm f1.4 EF lens on ebay if anybody wants it.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320267404047&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=011

    Thanks if you bid anyway.

Interested, by chance, in a trade for a 28-135mm IS lens? Mint condition?
